About Dr. Aviva Stanislawski
I have always been passionate about music and loved the enjoyment and inspiration I receive from listening to quality music.
But more than my enthusiasm for music itself, I’m passionate about the interaction with people sharing the musical experience: I enjoy seeing the sparkle in their eyes and the smile on their faces when they respond to music and feel moved by it.
For me, this is an important mission — to provide people with meaningful musical experiences that enrich their world and bring them inspiration and joy.
Indeed, I regard music education as the cultivation of knowledge and understanding, in order to foster greater enjoyment, appreciation, and enlightenment.

For decades, I have been engaged in the field of music education, and my enthusiasm continues to grow each day. I received extensive training in the field (a PhD in Musicology and studies in Music Education at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and the Jerusalem Academy of Music, as well as a certificate from Longy School of Music, Boston, U.S.A.), and I have gained vast experience in teaching music:
· To various age groups: from children to university students,
· To different audiences: those with musical backgrounds as well as amateurs,
· In different settings: formal institutions and informal gatherings like clubs and social events, and especially in designing enriching programs for senior citizens.
In order to "pass on the torch" and spread my enthusiasm for music education, my special area of expertise has been in the training of music teachers, guiding them toward a creative and innovative approach to this inspiring profession, and I have been fortunate to engage in this for over 35 years.
Over the years, my areas of interest have also expanded, and I have developed a multi-dimensional teaching approach that integrates music with other fields of knowledge:
· Classical music — combined with history, literature, and various arts,
· Hebrew songs — combined with the history of the State of Israel, literature, and the Bible, understanding Hebrew song as a reflection of the national soul.
Today, my broad perspective on the role of music in life, together with my extensive experience in presenting diverse musical topics, enables me to tailor an engaging musical talk for any audience and any occasion.
Over the last 5 years, I have been sharing my lectures online and have been reaching audiences all over the world.
I would be delighted to share my enthusiasm and excitement with you and to present a musical talk that will bring you enjoyment, understanding, and inspiration.
TESTIMONIALS
"...fascinating, innovative, inspiring..."
It was lovely, dear Aviva!! You are simply an excellent lecturer, fascinating, innovative, inspiring!! You do good to so many of your listeners - actually voluntarily, because not everyone can sign up for the courses, and yet you give us a taste, and much more than a taste for free... Your lessons are an event of emotion and uplifting spirit and I was one of those who signed up for several of your excellent courses. Thank you with all my heart. Everything you sent is uplifting, enriching and moving. Thank you so much,
Ahuva Weiss
"...well organized and enhanced my understanding"
I enjoyed Dr. Stanislawski's classes they were well organized and enhanced my understanding of classical music and the components that go into a particular piece. They also provide a chronological timeline for how classical music developed over the centuries....

"It is a delight for the heart, the ear, and the soul..."
Aviva is a warm, loving, generous soul with a broad and deep musical knowledge. But above all, her love for the people of Israel, the Land of Israel, and the Torah of Israel guide her every warm and loving word. It is a delight for the heart, the ear, and the soul to listen to her lessons! She opens doors and introduces us to works and songs and composers and poets and performers that we did not know. Bless you, dear Aviva!
